So far, this product has performed exactly as I've wanted it to. I plugged it in, loaded up the configuration software,
set it up and began using it. What else could you want?
When powered up, the device adds itself to your network at a fixed IP address. Use the configuration utility, which talks to
the device via NetBUI, to set an IP address that is compatible with your network. Now you can connect in either way from your Windows
system, using several methods as outlined in the documentation.
More than one printer? This device supports up to three.
The device has several indicator lights on the front panel, including wireless signal strength and printer status.
The only unusual issue is what happens when a bi-directional printer (one that can report back its status, like paper out or ink out)
has a problem. No true indicator appears on the client computer when a problem happens with the printer. Instead, the printer
queue is paused automatically. So when the queue is paused, go check the printer!
